The quality standards for food packaging are highly demanding. Such packages must fulfil numerous requirements for cleanliness and strength, and may for instance never contain any harmful substances.
Below are expandable copies of Samhentir’s certificates for boxes and cartons and for plastic packaging. Although the texts are generally in Icelandic, you will probably recognise many references to international regulations and to the certifications of our suppliers.
