Terms and conditions of sale

The following terms and conditions of sale apply to all offers and orders involving Samhentir. Exemptions from these terms and conditions are valid only by written consent of the seller.

Price quotations

Any offer or bid submitted by Samhentir shall be treated as confidential by both Samhentir and the customer. Samhentir seeks to respond promptly to any offer it receives.

All Samhentir price quotations are conditional on changes in currency exchange rates, import duties and customs, or other factors affecting the price level, and are always relative to exchange rates on the invoice date. Every quote is conditional on the aforementioned premises.

To accept an offer, the customer must confirm it by email or by signing the offer sheet.

Custom orders and custom manufacturing

For custom orders or manufacturing jobs, the general rule is that the customer must pay a deposit before any work is undertaken.

Cancelling orders

Confirmed orders may only be changed or cancelled by the written consent of Samhentir.

Vendor's lien

Samhentir always has a lien on goods sold in order to ensure payment in full. This is in accordance with Article 35 of the Act on Contractual Liens, No. 75/1997.

Unforeseeable events

Samhentir and/or the manufacturer may be forced to cancel orders or partially change them. The reasons for this might for instance be a shortage of labour or raw materials, problems with shipping partners, strikes or other industrial actions, war or other conflicts, natural disasters, legal developments, or other uncontrollable events.
